Partner Agencies

BLOOD ALLOCATION

• Donors or employees of our partner agencies who want to avail blood must coordinate their request with their agency coordinator.
• The agency coordinator will inform (in writing or through phone) the Blood Donor Recruitment Section regarding their blood requirements.
  • Patients Blood Type
  • Blood or Components Needed
  • Number of units needed
• The BDR staff will check with the blood bank for the availability of the components needed. Then inform the agency coordinator as to the total available balance and the number of blood units they can avail of.
• The BDR staff will check the status of the agency’s stocks in the Blood Donor Data Base
• Once the blood component requested is available the BDR staff will then inform the agency coordinator of the availability of blood.
• The agency coordinator will inform the patient’s relative to bring the following:
  • Networking request form completely filled-out and signed by the Agency coordinator
  • Request from the hospital where the patient is admitted
  • Small ice chest for the transport of blood.
